Translation of content elements (+ image metadata)

With the help of the AI Suite, you can translate existing content elements or their contents using various models & APIs. The implementation of the feature has extended the standard process, as you know it from TYPO3, at specific points, so that you can quickly find your way around.

The following section explains the procedure step by step.

1. Where can I find the function?

To access the translation function (similar to the TYPO3 standard), follow these steps:

  1. Switch to the page module
  2. Select the page whose content you want to translate
  3. Choose 'Language comparison' in the top dropdown of the navigation
  4. Select 'All languages' in the bottom dropdown of the navigation
  5. If necessary, first create a translation of the page
  6. Click the 'Translate' button

2. Structure of the Translation Process (analogous to TYPO3 standard)

  1. Select the desired translation model for translating the content
  2. Select the individual content elements that should be translated
  3. Click on “Continue” to create the translations

3. Validate the results

After the translation has been carried out, the contents along with the translations are created in the new language. For images, maintained titles and alternative texts are translated as well.

 By default, the contents are deactivated.
